SV.CO is good for people and planet In the handling areas we generate 197 MWh of energy annually using solar panels. This is equivalent to providing at least 54 (3 person) households with energy annually.
We use +/- 40% sustainable materials in our potting soil, especially the coconut and compost components Our pot chrysanthemums are among the top 10 air-purifying houseplants. This has been scientifically examined by NASA.
We are replacing more and more plastic packaging with a sustainable option. Did you know, for example, that we developed our own SV-box from recycled cardboard?
Along with its air-purifying effect, they also produce extra oxygen in their surroundings and make people happier.
Our greenhouse surface area on which we grow plants is comparable in m² to around 19 football fields.
100% of the water falling on them is recirculated. This leads to annual savings equivalent to the tap water consumption of 5095 (3 person) households.

We encourage ourselves to score as high as possible for the sustainability certification by MPS, for which we are periodically tested. This keeps us permanently alert to doing our very best and gaining the highest score for sustainability.
