We sampled five wonderful prestige whiskies and five equally compelling chocolates last week during our chocolate and whisky pairing class with Diageo and Tigre y Oliva.

Diageo Brand Ambassador Rian Asiddao together with the head of the Prestige Business Unit Matthias Koppe introduced us to some of the finest from Scotland like Mortlach, Lagvulin and Talisker.

Tigre y Oliva Partner/Owner Rob Crisostomo talked about the origins of the cacao used for their artisanal chocolates, the company’s ethical practices, and even a bit of history of chocolate production.
