The Dell Scott Collection Presents New Fall/Winter Collection “Emerge” at New York Fashion Week
The self-titled Dell Scott Collection was established in 2015 by American Designer Dell Scott. Dell Scott is a CFDA Runway 360 designer and 2023 board member of Fashion Group Internation al-Philadelphia. Scott hopes to empower other women to embrace their inner beauty through her creations in the fashion industry. In addition to being a fashion designer, Scott is also an entrepre neur and author.
The Dell Scott Collection was created with the intention to make designs that highlight vibrancy and sensuality. The luxury brand is dedicated to creating exquisite formal couture clothing. Each season, the brand launches a new themed collection, with their FW23 season’s collection being titled “Emerge.”
The new collection conceptualizes the idea that “there is no darkness without light and in turn no light without darkness.” “Emerge” is a collection illuminated by both light and dark elements. When merged, the elements create a balanced medium.
The 20-piece formal women's wear collection is constructed of silky satins, luxurious sequins, foiled metallics and lavish pearl mesh. Keeping true to her trademark of elegant style, Scott’s designs reveal deep necklines, slits, flared styles and dramatic silhouettes. The show opened with iconic ‘70s supermodel Debbie Dickinson walking the runway in a black satin pearl trim petal gown with a scalloped plunging neckline.
