How does RACER® comply with CSR?

As a domestic and international company, Racer always gave high priority to environmental protection and committed to establish its actions over the long term. In a quest of permanent improvement, we appointed an expert company to measure our carbon footprint and to help us to reduce it by implementing new procedures and actions.

Our mission:

Our products will be displayed with a brand new hanger made with recycled cardboard and will feature a rigid hook also made with recycled materials.

Single-use plastic bags are badly damaging our nature and environment. We will cut all usages of these polluting items. More than 300 000 polybags will then be saved every year.

Today, we will get rid of paper printed materials and only offer digital ones.

By our multiples actions, we wish to soon reach your expectations at protecting our planet and leave a better world to our children.

The NORTHSTAR down jacket is the latest addition to the RACER heating product line to keep you warm wherever you are. It incorporates a highly sophisticated heating system developed alongside with the French Army ensuring the highest reliability and best performances. The last two fingers are attached with a rubber reinforcement and a piece of Hypalon®, a lightweight and protective combo, in completion with other reinforcements present on the fingers. The latter features outer seams with double topstitch, which ensures the best possible dexterity. The glove is held in place by a 3-step wrist closure. The thumb is compatible with smartphones.

THE PACKER EVO

The PACKER EVO is a backpack made entirely of Cordura® for urban mobility. It has all the necessary specificities for this use such as a helmet holder, a pocket for a back protector, an anti rain bag, straps on the chest and hips. It also offers good visibility thanks to its numerous reflective elements on the back and on the straps. Finally, central and side openings allow quicker access to the contents of your bag.

Discover THE BRIDGE, a modern and technical fanny pack made of a waterproof fabric to protect your accessories. It has an easy access pocket for all your essentials but also two small side pockets to store small items. THE BRIDGE also has reflective elements for better visibility when riding your motorcycle.

THE CITYLIGHT

The CITYLIGHT spotlights all the savoir-faire of the RACER in-house designers to create a reversible, 2 in 1 jacket. The CITYLIGHT jacket is a high-end technical, reversible, and reflective jacket. Indeed, on the technical side, THE CITYLIGHT will seduce the most demanding because nothing has been left to chance. Made of noble and premium fabrics such as a 5K stretch softshell, that makes it 100% windproof and waterproof. Premium 3M® panels found on the sleeves and hood make sure you’re visible to others during late-night commutes, hike or walk, meeting the ISO20471 visibility standard. OEKO-TEX 100 certified. The CITYLIGHT also has three zipped pockets on both sides for rapid storage. Found on top is a hood that can double as a cap with a magnetic flap on the side to ensure it’ll stay put. Completely reversible: each side has been carefully designed to makes it a fully fledge 2 jackets in 1.

THE DOWNTOWN

We designed the DOWNTOWN to serve as the best parka to satisfy any urban riding needs. The water-repellent fabric keeps you dry in poor weather and shelters you from the wind. It includes many aspects designed to protect you when travelling, such as reflective elements on the side flaps and the possibility of installing a D3O® protective back protector. The parka is available in black with grey reflective inserts or khaki with green reflective inserts, a very rare color for this material. THE DOWNTOWN features back vents for maximum airflow, an adjustable hood, and adjustable cuffs. A must-have!

THE PARK

The PARK jacket has been designed for intensive use. Its lightweight fabric with waterproof and windproof seams will keep you dry. The PARK also has vents on the back and under the armpits, an adjustable hood and cuffs. Then 4 pockets will allow you to store your essential accessories during your rides.

THE FIELD

ONE SIZE

The FIELD is a modern fit cape with a loose, wavy silhouette designed with cyclists in mind, providing three levels of fit and a drawstring hood. We intend its waterproof and repellent fabric to protect you against the elements, and thanks to the reflective bands on the rear, you can stay visible when commuting. We included hand loops inside to provide complete coverage and control when pedalling. When it’s sunny outside, we equipped the FIELD with a pocket and a magnetic flap to fold it on its own and wear it as a waist bag.
