FOR US, EVERY DAY IS SUNDAY. “We never could have imagined that the Adventure Blanket we created to help our family enjoy the outdoors would lead to a year-round collection of hats and accessories sold worldwide, but here we are!”

Sunday Afternoons was born in the great Northwest—home to freedom seekers, outdoor lovers, free spirits, and the young at heart. It’s that spirit that pushes us to listen to the little voice urging us to explore. We believe experience is the fuel that powers a rich life, and provides the foundation for the words we live by. That’s why, for over 25 years, our family has been creating the perfect hats to cover just about any adventure. As lovers of the great outdoors, we’ve always felt that home is where your hat is. Whether you’re following your dreams, your sense of adventure, or your curiosity, following your head can lead to amazing places...in the right hat.

Business continues to grow so we convert our garage to an office and hire our first full-time employee.

In need of more space, we set up shop in a repurposed firehouse in Talent, Oregon.

1994 With colorful blanket scraps piling up, we hatch a plan to sew them into sun hats to sell alongside our blankets.
