- Products contain safe mixtures that prohibit setting, and hardening or swelling (ASTM C33-87), while maintaining high resistance of the products. - The percentage of the aluminum mixture is within the specified limits (ASTM C2439) resulting in better interaction with lime pozzolana plasters compared to other inert materials.

The natural hydraulic KOURASANIT plasters are classified as non dangerous for human beings and the environment according to the directive 67/548/EEC. The natural hydraulic KOURASANIT plasters contain hydraulic lime CL 90 certified according to the international standard E 459-1, which is important to the excellent resistance and hydraulicity of the products. The natural hydraulic KOURASANIT plasters contain Santorin earth (“natural puzzolana”), which is considered to be ideal for plasters (according to the Building Materials Laboratory at the Aristotles University of Thessaloniki).ASTM C311 Standard. The natural hydraulic KOURASANIT products (coatings, natural paints and plasters) are ranked as fire class A1 due to the low volume (less than 1%) of organic material content.

The natural hydraulic Restoration plasters improve the quality of the restoration work in museums and historical buildings. (According to the research program within the department of Science of Stability of NATO entitled “Materials for Consolidation and Restoration of Monuments and Historical Buildings” in collaboration with Aristotles University of Thessaloniki). The natural hydraulic KOURASANIT plasters do not contain volatile organic compounds (VOC).
