APARTMENT AVANTI
Type: Residential Apartment Location: Udaipur, India
The large shift to working from home, which is like ly to stay even after COVID-19 has waned, will drive the need for more flexible and adaptable space. The studio project brief was to create a residential space which had the flexibility to carry professional life as well Apartment Avanti is a residential apartment designed keeping in mind all the requirements and specifications of the Client and the need to create adaptable and much more flexible living spaces.
Design Intermix was a challenge because it called for a need of designing a separate and dedicated space for office, which needed to be integrated with the residence. The structural height added to it’s advantage because it allowed a split at eqal level from the living area to the loft zone. Kennaz Messman Harchandrai, Founder and creative director of Theobroma, aged 39 yrs, who is also a chef, a mother was chosen as the client for this project.

THE RIVER VALLEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
“The blurred lines between work and life”
River Valley Elementary School, the interactive learning landscape supports a conscious approach to ed ucation, nurturing the growth, spirit and mind of the 21st century child. The 3,100 m2 learn ing universe for children aged three to nine.
The two-story school building is based on the scale of the heterogeneous, small-scale peripher al settlement structure and formulates differentiated open spaces and views as a formation of three stag gered structures. This creates varied outdoor spaces of different characters, which nonetheless serve relaxation, sport, and the educational concept. The river valley is divided into con cepts like Interactive Zone, Learning Studio & Flex Lab where all the interaction, coordination and child’s personal development takes place. gfdd
Valley
Daylight-controlled skylights illuminate these interior rooms and enliven the fine texture of the tent-like acoustic lining. All-round glazing connects the classrooms and dividing rooms with the learning centers, which can be flexibly connected or separated visually using textile curtains.
This creates a multi-layered offer for the teaching staff to convey learning content according to the situation and to enable students in a cluster to learn to gether in different constellations. The school supports a modern approach to eduction by following the prin cipals and guides of Alternate Education, a system barring all systems, which not only encourages students to take ownership of their learnings, that opens up their cre ativity & Innovation but also instills entrepreneurship skills.

Threshold| B.des 04 Semester | 2021
Through the interplay of na ture and architecture, the user is at times unable to iden tify what is the occupied struc ture and what is landscape. The moment of change, or threshold, between the natural landscape and the architectural spaces is brought on by the occupants’ exterior tran sition through the structure. This project challenges the notion of what is natural or architectural.
THRESHOLD
Type: Holiday Home
The concept of Fission and Fu sion led to the division of spaces according to function al parameters of Threshold. Make and Break worked well for the design as it gave a room for private interac tive space outdoors, and two backyards right adjacent to the master bedroom
There’s Kitchenette along with an island slab as you enter, following a large king sized master bedroom, featuring Heisman Crystal Grand Pia no, a bed and an open closet for essentials. The third com ponent of Threshold, has the bathroom utilities which again is a separate zone from the bed and kitchenette and can be accessible from the other Entry.

The Arch House is designed for a well known American Interior designer, Kelly wearstler. As an extension to her own house for a single habitant which would be based around the Live, Work, Play concept. The project started with the an in-depth client analysis which covered her demographics, socio economics, geographies and anthropometrics.
Space Analysis and planning
According to the client, she wanted a studio apartment, where she wanted to keep a sep arate mezzanine floor for conducting metings and important business. Some of the features of the Studio apartment are central library, wine gallery, studio facilities, double height atrium and a large arch fitted window. A wall of fame, for her type of personality, mood board wall.

EQUINOX Model Making
Equinox features the concept of Subtraction (Left) and Addi tion (right). The idea was to add as much as you subtract from the former form so that both the cubes when placed together balances each other.
Due to interconnected empty spaces on the surface of the cube, there is Rhythmic voidity in the overall structure
Bauhaus features rigid an gles, geometric and ab stract shapes, hence the void line on the corner and geometric lines throughout
The interplay of geometric shapes and abstract form. The combination of Primaries from the col or wheel breathes life into the 3D model.
