What are the requirement to migrate to Australia
The skilled people who want to migrate have to apply for Skilled Migration Visa that is generally based on the skills or education background of the applicant. The visa helps to target the skilled people who want to make their career in different countries and like to make contribution in that country’s economy. To meet up for the application, the candidate undergoes certain point tests and it is important to qualify for a skilled permanent resident policy. The applicant may also apply by giving the proof of their relative who is the native in the country, by issuing their proof ids and status. The skilled applicant also requires medicinal checks before the permanent residential visa is not approved. The skilled applicants have the legacy for permanent resident for specified no. of years and then can be a citizen of that country.

English language Australia as a mostly English speaking nation require a minimum English language ability for skilled migration purposes, but the interesting factor is that for those with skillful or superior English skills are rewarded with greater points for their points test. These English levels are not loosely defined, rather they are quantified through approved tests such as IELTS and PTE, where participants are tested on their reading, writing, listening and speaking ability. If you score a specific result you are possibly rewarded with 10 or 20 extra points for your request, which is significant considering the minimum points score legislatively is currently at 60 points.
Nominated occupation The State Nominated occupation List (SNOL) belongs to South Australia – A key Australia state. You can nominate an occupation from this list to apply for any of the below state nominated Visas: • Skilled Nominated Visa (subclass 190) • Skilled Regional (Provisional) subclass 489 – state of Territory nominated
Skills Assessment Australia The Migration Skills Assessment Program (MSA) is for applicants applying for a permanent skilled migration visa in occupations and countries not covered by Registered Training Organizations (RTO) approved by Trades Recognition Australia (TRA). It is a paper based skills assessment of your qualifications and employment history to determine comparability with Australian standards for a skilled worker in your nominated occupation.
The MSA program is for migration purposes only. A successful MSA outcome does not result in the awarding of an Australian qualification and cannot be used for employment, licensing or qualification recognition purposes. If you wish to be assessed for an Australian qualification, you can choose to apply for a skills assessment through the Offshore Skills Assessment Program (OSAP). To be eligible, you need to be applying in a OSAP nominated occupation and should be able to travel to Australia or an OSAP nominated country for a skills assessment by a TRA-approved RTO. More information about the OSAP can be found. Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) has advised a change to the trade skills assessment process effective 3 April 2018. There is an additional step at the end of the assessment process and TRA will now approve the final assessment outcome for all trade skills assessments.
Health assessment
You should be of reasonably good health and all applicants must have their health assessed by a panel doctor and undergo a medical examination.
Character Assessment Each person that wishes to enter or remain in Australia they must meet the ‘character requirement’ as defined under Section 501 of the Migration Act 1958. Australia, like many other nations, requires that visitors and people who are wishing to migrate are of good character as outlined in the Department of Immigration (the Department) policies. In making a determination on whether a person is fit for entry into the country, the Department applies a ‘character test’ which ultimately decides whether or not a person is granted permission to enter Australia.
