Primary ElectionSeptember9,2008 PollsOpenat 7: 00AM With this being a presidential election year it is more important than ever to get out and vote. However voting in any type of election, whether its for local government or the presidential primaries, provides a unique opportunity to voice your opinion. Despite the important decisions determined through elections (for example, who our local, state, and national leaders will be or whether a referendum will pass or fail) most presidential races are participated in by less than 70 percent of the eligible voting public. These numbers drop even lower in off-presidential years or in the case of local elections. So this year make your vote count, beginning by participating in the Primary Election on September 9. See page three precinct! Please note that there are new precincts and/or precinct boundaries for many
