EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCE

This two-year degree prepares you to shape the next generation by working in pre-schools, child care, and after-school programs. You will grow in your understanding of children and how to teach them effectively through courses such as Child Care and Development and Child Guidance. Courses in Bible, science, history, and math will provide necessary content knowledge that will further equip you to teach young children.

If you ever choose to pursue more college training, your associate’s degree can be rolled into a fouryear Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education degree.
