Susan Rasmussen joined the Maranatha faculty in January of 2013 and was named Director of the School of Nursing in 2017. She earned her BSN from Cedarville College and her MSN/Ed from the University of Phoenix. Susan has more than 30 years of experience as a registered nurse, including more than 20 years of teaching experience involving hospital education, CPR and first aid instruction, and higher education. Her passion is to teach the next generation of nurses how to live as godly examples in an ever-changing world of healthcare. “Every aspect of our nursing practice must be rooted and grounded in God’s Word and my prayer is that my students develop a biblical worldview of nursing as a foundation for ministry.” Susan and her family are involved in local church music and enjoy outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, and hiking.
