Preface Compiling our portfolio of very different photographs has been a great experience and we were thrilled to work with great talents from both the fashion and photography industries to create unforgettable pictures.
The last year has been our most successful to date and we currently have several international publications both in print and in online magazines. Marc & Louis Photography was delighted to win various awards and could participate at the Zurich „Photo“ exhibition.
„No Ordinary World“ represents our first years in photography and is the result of hard work, success and disappointment.
Even more meaningful for us is the joy we experience when working with a great team to create beautiful results, you can rest assured that we will produce further magazine’s and continue to shoot extraordinary stories. Please enjoy our world of photography!
We wouldn’t have been able to follow our dream without the help our families and friends, who have all given us the support we needed to allow our dreams to become a reality. A huge thank you is given to everybody who has helped in the realisation of all our projects so far.

We shot the editorial „Fashion Breakdown“ in October 2010 for the first printed issue of the San Francisco/New York City based „ASTONISH Magazine“, a new magazine for fashion and art. The launch was in New York on 7th September and copies of the magazine were presented to the launch guests before being published in September 2011. 7
The idea behind the story was to stage a crazy journey of three young models that caught a bus in Zurich to go to Milan and become famous. Unfortunately, the girls didn’t think of filling the tank and got stuck in the middle of nowhere. The editorial „Fashion Breakdown“ also won a Bronze Award at the Prix de la Photographie Paris (PX3) 2011.

We photographed „Wild Things“ for the Vienna based „C-Heads-Magazine“, issue No.25. The concept was to style the models as different wild animals and let them pose as such.

Marie-Louise’s sister, Kathrin helped us to develop the concept for the editorial „Dreaming of the Dark Side“. It was intended as a personal project for Kathrin and as an appreciation for all her hard work in organising the catering at our photography shoots. „Dreaming of the Dark Side“ was not shot with the intention of publication, however, the story between the model, Maura and Darth Vader turned into a huge 49
success after some of the pictures were published on the famous „Bentrovato“ fashion photography blog. In just a few days, the pictures were on dozens of blogs all over the world. Kathrin created the Twi‘lek tentacles and Marie-Louise designed and created the costume. We are very grateful for the support of the Swiss Garrison who supplied the original Darth Vader and storm trooper costumes.

SPOTLIGHT Makeup Artist Lilith Amrad
Lilith Amrad is a very talented young make-up artist from Brugg in Switzerland who has always been interested in ways to change how people look.
She regularly works for the Swiss film production company Filmgerberei as well as photographer Marie-Louise Cadosch with whom she co-produced the expressionistic picture series „Crazy Diamond“ (see pages 30-35).
Lilith was originally a clothing designer but creating direct changes to the human body became more interesting to her. After studying at „Art of MakeUp“ in Winterthur, Lilith began to work for different photographers, artists, and on film projects as well as with live acts.
Lilith‘s early work shows a good eye for style and a reliable intuition for trends, she is already recognised for a soft and coherent make-up style. Her creative input to art projects as well as her knowledge of make-up and hair and clothing styles from different era’s of last century is to her credit. It is Lilith’s belief that make-up should not stand on its own but perfectly harmonise with each model and the clothing design she is wearing.
Her work includes the „Elite Model Look 2010“, brands such as Mamuth, Kästle and Claudi Zuber, she also worked on the Swiss Movie „Alles eis Ding“ with Stephanie Glaser.
“As a make-up artist I love making ideas visible and realizing them in a team.” Lilith Amrad
