He has started businesses in varied industries including food and beverage, aviation, telecommunications, and land development. He has also served on the boards of private, public and non-profit organizations. He has even served on the regional and international Board of the World Presidents Organization. The other board he has served in within his native country of Canada is the Alberta Cancer Foundation as well as the Calgary Stampeders Lottery Board.


Indeed Marc has a long history in the telecommunication industry that spans since the time he moved from his home city of Montreal to Calgary in 1982. Immediately he moved to Calgary, he established a paging company that helped to deliver business communications at the time. He named the company Page-Direct and worked so hard growing the company to become a full-service communications company. Some of the services that the company offered included; call center services, cellular communications, paging, and two-way radio services. With the expansion of the business, the company would later be renamed to PDL Mobility and Call Centers. Later in 1996, Marc sold the paging operations to another company known as Shaw Communications. Today Marc remains a big mentor for his family and friends in their business adventures.
