he client’s requests were precise, he asked for personal and introspective space which allowed the possibility of constant experiences inside the apartment, in the common and private areas, as well as on the terraces and hallways. The Project is being developed in a mixeduse zone with visual and sound saturation, additionally, our client’s professional activities, which generate a great amount of stress on a daily basis, required the integration of special characteristics into the apartment. Our interior decorating and furnishing pro-

posal consisted in generating points of continuity and recreation, one of the main concepts involved setting off a relationship with nature while preserving privacy, through contact with terraces and inner gardens, through reading, recreation and working areas, and spaces in which to get together with friends and family, all of this within a 200m2 apartment. The color palette and textures of the materials are sober and neutral, allowing the full expression of the art, decoration, and vegetation. The main materials used are:
Hardwood, which covers most of the apartment’s surface, the doors and structure’s walls have an anthracite gray lacquer finish, marble in the main bathroom, and cantera (quarry) stone in the secondary bathrooms. The furniture has a mix of walnut wood tones with color lacquer. Most of the built-in furniture was custom-designed, as well as a few special pieces for the main area.

his pop -up kiosk was inspired by the graphic elements of the brand, an
hexagonal honeycomb pattern was overlaid with the rectangular shape of the space; by doing this overlapping of forms we decided to cut the left front corner of the space to form a welcoming yellow facade that invites the customer to approach to the kiosk and order their food.

The kiosk was designed with the intention of creating an Italian summer feel and the open shape celebrates the showman ship making pizzas.

he client’s requirements were oriented towards a Japanese interpretation, it was not literal, he wanted the place to have its own personal expression, contemporary and cosmopolitan, by enhancing its spatial existing conditions through different experiences, the new range of open spaces, its terraces, its sake bar and its own exclusive temple oriented to the highly demanding sushi lovers. Maintaining a very intimate and subtle feel towards the first encounter with the exterior, once you enter you’ll find yourself in a terrace, where eating and drinking are embraced by natural vegetation. The building’s
02
organic façade and landscape were carefully designed to become an extension of the restaurant creating a strong relationship between the inside and the outside.
The facade’s pattern responds to the inside openings, filtering light, shadows, and views that will constantly invade the interior spaces. An atmosphere enriched by the spectrum of subtle changes.
The interior receives and follows the exterior with subtle contrasts. Each room has its own nature and shows a clear relationship with its function. The furniture was inspired and made for Tori Tori and developed with a direct orientation through each space. During more than eight months a complete collection of chairs and tables where created, for both exterior and interior use.

his year's space concept has taken inspiration from the world's largest urban cultures cities, New York, London, Toronto. Introducing the commonly found element of construction scaffolding as the main feature, juxtaposed against containers to create masses & alleyways. Intended to be like a city block ready to be explored with community pockets spread through out the venue making a dynamic platform to Sole DXBs program of fashion, music, sport & workshops.
