There’s many essentials that pertain to a person that encourages their human behavior and character every day in life. Abraham Maslow an American psychologist created Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs in which he refers to the self- actualization, esteem needs, love and belongingness, safety needs, and psychological needs. He then jots it down to three sectors in which he refers to self-fulfillment needs, psychological needs and basic needs. Needs that individuals need in a daily basis to reveal their full potential and not to fall behind. Physiological needs structures and is the base of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. Furthermore, Maslow gives examples of what are those needs that it is believe individuals need to survive. Things like food, drinks, oxygen, temperatures regulation, elimination, rest, activity, and sex. For instance I would need food and drinks/fluids to survive, oxygen too. Without those my body would feel weaken and wouldn’t have any energy to do anything. We would also need the rest of the stuff mention in a balanced way. As part of basic needs, safety needs is also part of it and it’s the facet on top of physiological needs. Safety needs relates to protection from dangerous objects or situations or threats that are physical or psychological. For example, if there was someone trying to attack me with a bat or weapon, I would feel safe if there a police officer nearby to stop the person trying to attack me. It mostly about have that confidence of knowing you’re rather than not knowing.

Marchan 2 Ongoing with Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs with physiological and safety needs, Love and Belongingness is also one of them. It’s also consider part of psychological needs. Love and Belongingness relates to receiving and giving love, affection, trust, and acceptance. For instance, being accepted by a group of family, friends, or someone special to you. Being loved but also loving. Being accepted but also accepted. What also is included in the psychological needs is Esteem needs. It is define as the esteem and respect of others and self-esteem and self-respect, a sense of competition. It also relates with Love and belongingness in a way, a way of being accepted but it mostly relates to people with low self-esteem that have trouble having that confidence in themselves and to gain that confidence, they need to feel accepted by others rather than accepting themselves first. On top of the list, and last but not least is Self-actualization which is part of selffulfillment needs. Self-actualization is more based on realizing your full potential and realizing that potential, in further details becoming everything on is capable of becoming. For instance like myself, if I know I’m capable of completely certain goals I have in life, I will complete them because I know I have the potential to complete them. In a way it’s more of having a positive mentality, a positive mind set rather than thinking things will go bad and just fill your mind with negative thoughts. In conclusion, Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs explains what us human beings needs or relates within our daily lives. We can relate to basic needs which sums up Physiological needs and Safety needs. We need certain things like food and water to continue living but we also need to feel safe. Psychological needs which is Love and Belongingness and Esteem need. We need to be loved but love also and accept and be accepted. Lastly Self-fulfillment needs which is Self-
