At the tourist level, the village is privileged by its history and culture, by lucky geographical position and its culinary traditions. The village is located just a few kilometers from the National Park of the Sibillini Mountains. The seaside resorts such as Cupra Marittima and Pedaso are a few kilometers away and the town also knows a kind of excursion type tourism of the coast side vacationers. Good and homemade is the offer in hospitality and catering with various farmhouses, holiday homes, bed and breakfast, and campsite. There are numerous annual events that take place in the village but one is able to attract thousands of participants: "La Sagra della Salsiccia alla Brace", the grilled sausage festival. An event that has been held for 47 years in the week around Ferragosto.

In the agricultural sector, are truly appreciated the production of wines such as the Offida Rosso, the Rosso Piceno, the Falerio dei Colli Ascolani, the Pecorino, the Passerina and the Marche Rosso. The wine production of Carassai can boast wines awarded with the "Three Glasses ”, mentions of the Gambero Rosso Magazine and international awards.
