TECHNICAL FEATURES Stay Warm, Ride Longer Facts about an Airhole: Up to 50% of body heat is lost when the face and head are exposed. Airhole’s retain heat, provide better blood circulation and keep the wearer warmer. Excess heat due to vigorous exercise can escape through our breathable fabrics and Airhole. Stay warm and dry, not cold and wet. Goggles fog when hot air is trapped and the signature Airhole allows hot breath to escape, avoiding the fog. No more fogged goggles on powder days. Airhole’s ergonomic masks are designed to fit the face perfectly. The fit allows for goggles and minimizes exposed bare skin, keeping the elements out. The signature Airhole is featured on all Airhole masks. It allows the wearer to breathe freely, avoiding condensation that causes a cold, wet face. Airholes are designed to protect the neck and avoid heat loss to critical areas at critical times.

THE AIRHOLE Fig.1: Direct Injected Silicone Airhole
The Original Airhole launched the Airhole Facemask in 2006. Airhole is created the Airhole and is known for this technology.
Figure 1: Direct Injected Silicone Airhole The silicone Airhole is found on the majority of masks throughout the collection. The Airhole is applied using liquid silicone directly to the fabric of the mask in the finishing stage to exact specification. The silicone Airhole is sterile, easy to find when wearing, and never freezes. Figure 2: Welded Airhole The welded Airhole is a technological advancement in simplicity and is found on our single layer and 3 layer bonded fabrics. Simple, clean and user friendly. Figure 3: Embroidered Airhole Embroidered Airholes are found on merino and cashmere masks. Maximum thread count is used around the Airhole to enhance the look and maintain the shape. VELCRO INNOVATION The Softest Velcro Ever Hook and loop Velcro was invented and patented in 1955 and now Airhole has discovered the next generation of Velcro...
Airhole now has the softest Velcro available on the market. It is medical grade.
The wearer barely feels the Velcro as it is now just thin flexible layers adhering when they contact each other.
The 3M Airhole logos continue to be a signature embossed feature on all masks using Velcro.
