The power of innovation. The new T 20 SP/T 24 SP Electric Pallet Truck with Rider Platform.
Linde Material Handling
It takes first-class equipment to do a first-class job. Equipment that's thoroughly engineered and designed down to the last detail to suit the assigned task. Development of the new T 20 SP/T 24 SP Electric Stand-on Pallet Truck is based on the findings of in-depth user analysis and extensive ergonomics studies. The outcome is elite innovation. An entirely new type of truck. One that advances beyond the forms of the past, focusing on the needs of the future.
A new angle on work.
At times, technical revolutions of enormous impact derive from a stunningly simple idea. A brilliant example is the new T 20 SP/T 24 SP Electric Pallet Truck with Rider Platform released by Linde. Setting the driving position at an angle of 45° to the direction of travel saves the operator having to twist too far when changing forward/backward. As a result, the operator can maintain an ergonomically sounder posture while retaining unobstructed sight of the entire surroundings.
From the Linde User Analysis: “Transport runs in a warehouse are divided equally between forward and reverse travel.”
Greater convenience for the operator starts with boarding the truck. Access/egress is easier due to the wide entrance opening, shock-absorbing floor mat and extremely low platform. Padded rests at several points inside the cockpit afford safe and comfortable support for the operator's body. It's this sort of detail that makes work a real pleasure – and contributes to maximum productivity.

320° Stunningly simple, strikingly different: The 45° driving position opens up totally new perspectives.
The leading innovation on the T 20 SP/T 24 SP is the e-driver® control handle. The “e” in its name stands for electronic and also for ergonomic and efficient. All main control functions are integrated in the one handle. Controlled conveniently either with one hand in the 45° driving position or with two hands for approaching loads, pallet handling is exceptionally precise with perfect command of every maneuver. Practically sized and ergonomically designed, the control handle affords full protection for the operator's hands and allows reliable operation when wearing gloves. Technical excellence substitutes physical exertion when driving the truck. With the innovative e-driver® concept, steering motions are shorter and more direct. By contrast with conventional platform models, no part of the operator's body extends beyond the truck contours. Work gets done both quicker and safer with the e-driver®, directly reflecting in significantly improved productivity.
From the Linde User Analysis: “Operators frequently have to maneuver in tight spaces inside delivery vehicle bodies or trailers, on loading docks or in order picking areas.”
Reassuring safety.
To be of real benefit, performance must be paired with safety. In that respect the T 20 SP/T 24 SP is no less than perfect. Everything about the truck's design and construction is directed to best possible safety for the operator in every situation.
From the Linde User Analysis: “In a normal work environment, intersecting truck traffic is one of the biggest safety hazards.
The spacious stand platform is enclosed by solid steel chassis panels that keep the operator safe from collision impact. Feet and ankles are additionally protected by the enclosing skirt at the bottom. The right hand resting securely on the e-driverÂŽ grip steers the truck with minimum turning motion. Safety of this standard, wholly reassuring and professionally motivating, is basic to highest operator performance on the job.
Warehouse handling operations are heavily demanding on both man and machine. But that's no problem with the T 20 SP/T 24 SP. Just when it's worked hard, this pallet truck demonstrates its technical superiority – through innovative features that set new standards in active safety. Self-centering power steering keeps the truck accurately on track when travelling in a straight line. When cornering, the steering effort adjusts automatically to travel speed and turn radius. Speed is moreover reduced in proportion to the steering angle. From the Linde User Analysis: “Travel paths for platform pallet trucks run over widely differing surfaces, including loading docks and steep ramps.”
Another direction-setting feature is the combination of fixed drive wheel and electronically controlled active side stabilizers. Together they endow the T 20 SP/T 24 SP with remarkable traction and stability – on turns and gradients, even on slippery and uneven ground.

Perfect stability and control. Active side stabilizers.
Active stabilizers are independently controlled to equalize ground unevenness.
Excellent ground holding regardless of wheel wear.
Automatic locking. Equalization of centrifugal forces. Maximum safety on turns.
The T 20 SP/T 24 SP has what it takes.
Because of the diversity of warehouse operations, it's essential that a warehouse truck can adapt quickly and smoothly to changing conditions. With its lively 3kW AC motor, the T 20 SP/T 24 SP gears to every handling situation in fractions of a second. The truck accelerates to maximum speed of 10 km/h in less than 5 metres distance. It takes loading docks and ramps in its stride by developing ample but well controlled tractive power. High output torque enables it to climb a 13% grade carrying a full-capacity load. Separate performance parameters (acceleration, speed and deceleration) can be tuned exactly to individual needs or preferences on site by a Linde service technician.
From the Linde User Analysis: “Operation on loading docks and ramps demands high traction and reliable braking.
A well-graded selection of batteries rated from 180 to 620Ah is available for the T 20 SP/T 24 SP. Equipped with an appropriately sized battery, the truck can work two heavy-duty shifts without having to stop for change-out.
Well organized. Workstation providing ample storage space, optionally with mount for mobile data terminals.
Versatile alternative. T20AP/T24AP with folding stand-on platform.
The T 20 SP/T 24 SP accelerates fast to top travel speed and is just as fast coming to a halt. Releasing the butterfly switch automatically activates the braking system. When parked uphill, the truck can be started without rolling back. Additionally, the electromagnetic parking brake is applied immediately the operator steps off the platform. This brake acts proportional to the load carried and can also be actuated by the emergency stop button. During the routine warehouse workday, many actions are repeated hundreds of times over. The T 20 SP/T 24 SP optimizes every one of them. All with the goal of making work easier, more economical and more productive.
From the Linde User Analysis: “Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles usually involves runs of less than 40 metres. Fast acceleration and deceleration are vital in such conditions.
The best way to start saving is to save time.
Speed of operation is one of the most prominent characteristics of the T 20 SP/T 24 SP. No less important is speed of servicing. Everything on and in the truck is designed to minimize downtime. The on-board diagnostic interface to the CAN bus gives the service technician direct access to all truck data for parameter setting, troubleshooting or preventive maintenance. The service hood removes easily for ready access to all technical components. Depending on type, the battery is changed by lifting out at the top or rolling out to the side. During side change, the interlocked active stabilizer is blocked to maintain the truck in secure horizontal position.
From the Linde User Analysis: “Performance isn't everything. What counts is the availability of performance.
Time is money. Quick truck diagnosis via CAN bus.
All the same, the best service you can get is service you don't need. As a rule, the T 20 SP/T 24 SP only needs servicing every 1,000 operating hours or once a year. Its dust- and water-proof AC motor doesn't need any maintenance at all.
Battery change. Neat, quick and effortless.
