WALKING ON MARS
In the last century the scientists who study the solar system are looking for hypothetical places where man may one day perhaps try to live. Between great films and songs, man has always seen a hypothetical future in the planet Mars. Mars is the fourth planet in the solar system in order of distance from the Sun is visible to the naked eye and is the last of the terrestrial type planets after Mercury,Venus and the Earth. Called the Red Planet because of its characteristic color caused by the large amounts of iron oxide that cover it. I therefore made myself inspire from the planet to which is connected both my name (Marco) and my zodiac sign (Aries). I then got inspired by all that can be considered matter of a planet, red sand, rocks, gas and to consider it as architectures on leaders. being a pure planet. I imagined a style of classic clothing and a bit stiff. I then reasoned to bring geometry closer to all rocky materials such as: marble, dust, sand, etc.

I then imagined a colony on Mars, where on his famous red sands the man was able to build marble balls using materials on the site. The choice then to create 5 men’s looks and 5 women’s looks and to bring them together because to create a new reality there is need for equal collaboration. The further choice to create garments with soft lines to symbolize the purity of a new beginning. The collection is then inspired by an autumn-winter context, among the various brands that inspired me: Cos, Marni, Armani and Prada. The materials I thought of are: wool, merino wool, boiled wool, cotton, ribbed cotton, ribbed wool, velvet, leather and the use of some processes such as devorè. The colors are all inspired by rock: Black, Ice grey, Smoky blue, saddle brown, Burnt orange, scorched earth, Brown grey 8, Ambra, Sand.
