/ MONICA DENGO
Monica Dengo is an Italian American artist and designer. She was born in Italy in 1966 and moved to California in 1993. She is the principal of Freehandwriting, a lettering and calligraphy curriculum, she teaches periodically at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and gives workshops in Italy. She has exhibited in Belgium, Italy, Japan, Finland and the United States. She has also participated in public projects, one of her collaborations is a permanent installation at the Mountain View Public Library (California). Her work is displayed in www.monicadengo.com, www. lindareps.com and www.freehandwriting.net. - She studied graphic design in Venice Italy (1990-1991), bookbinding and calligraphy at the Roehampton Institute in London (1991-1992), figure drawing with Eleanor Dickinson in San Francisco (1993-1996) and medieval miniature and illumination with Thomas Ingmire (1993-1996).

AMBROSI Italian photographer, he debuted working mainly in advertising as a still-life photographer, cultivating over the years a style inspired by painting. Most recently, his interests have expanded to include the human figure and the portrait. Although the majority of his collaborations involves clients in the great financial centres, he has always preferred working in his city, Verona, where he has also created a professional network with other photographers, illustrators, web designers, graphic artists and type designers. He is a member of ADCI, the Italian Art Directors Club. In parallel to commercial commissions, in 2001 he began to work on different art projects, that have been appreciated by art critics, curators and galleries. The exhibitions have been in Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Japan, Spain, England and France.

DHOMPA
Tsering Wangmo Dhompa was raised in India and Nepal. She received her MA from University of Massachussetts and her MFA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University. She has published two books of poems: In the Absent Everyday (2005) and Rules of the House (2002), both published by Apogee Press. Rules of the House was a finalist for the Asian American Literary Awards in 2003. Other publications include two chapbooks, In Writing the Names (A.bacus, Potes & Poets Press) and Recurring Gestures (Tangram Press). Tsering works for a San Francisco based non-profit foundation that provides humanitarian aid to people of the Himalayas.
