SUPRASL KAYAK CENTER YEAR: 2013 LOCATION: Suprasl, Poland SUBJECT: Hostel + restaurant for kayak users along the river ROLE: Project Design + Execution + Drawing

"The project aim was to elaborate a low-cost hostel on the banks of the river capable to accomodate at least ten guests, along with a restaurant, a public space-pier and a direct and efficient connection to the river itself, in order to offer the sportspeople a fast and practical way to enter the river with their kayaks. The idea was to purpose a complex with a low impact on the landscape, which uses natural materials such as different types of wood and stone, separating the functional destinations according to the material, in a personal re-elaboration of the polish vernacular style of Zakopane architecture"

BIALYSTOK ECUMENICAL MEMORIAL YEAR: 2013 LOCATION: Bialystok, Poland SUBJECT: Multi-cultural Memorial for the city of Bialystok ROLE: Project Design + Execution + Drawing

"The idea for the realization of a multi-confessional memorial for the city of Bialystok was born thinking how divisive religious symbols have been throughout the history of society, and how costraining it would be to make a "selection" of faiths for this memorial. The concept of the project is that only one thing is common to all the people, no matter what their confession is, and that's the path "Birth - Life - Death - Afterlife". Following this suggestion, the project developes itself creating symbolic spaces where light and shadow, shape and voids stimulate the guests in different directions, all functional to the story that the memorial tells"

Bialystok Ecumenical Memorial

"The Born Hall symbolizes life in utero, with minimal illumination and shielded sounds, in order to induce a sensation of intimity and reflection"

"The Walk of Life section is composed by monolythes of different heights arranged in a labyrinthic path, which create dismay in the guests"

"The ReBorn Hall is full of light and sound, and it's the end of the path and the culmination of the previous moments of reflection and doubt in a communal and shared experience"

RAYBAN SHOP YEAR: 2013 LOCATION: Undefined SUBJECT: Sunglasses shop ROLE: Project Design + Execution + Drawing

"The main idea of the project is to recreate the sensation of perfection and clean geometry of a greek temple inside a sunglasses shop, through a pop-revisitation of the classical shapes. The heart of the project is an octagonal hall where the products (i.e. the sunglasses) are exposed on mannequin heads along the walls: the use of the mannequin heads wants to stimulate in the customer the sensation of being watched, thus "forcing" them to return the gaze right on the products, while the shop window is dominated by a replica of the Venus de Mile sporting sunglasses, placed in a predominant place in order to intrigue the passerby"

TECNOZOO STAND YEAR: 2014 LOCATION: Undefined SUBJECT: Exposition stand for a farming products firm ROLE: Project Design + Execution + Drawing

"The project is meant to be an evolution of a previous project that was expected to have a large central volume where the company logo would be prominent, and various seatings around it. This reinterpretation of the project plays with a series of staggered boxes arranged in columns, forming a rhythm, a rhythm which is broken by the central volume. The volume itself becomes the exception to the rule, thus focusing on itself the attention of the viewer, so emphasizing the logo laid on it"
