Sono un giovane architetto con sede a Castel D’azzano (VR). Mi sono recentemente laureato al Politecnico di Milano con una tesi riguardante il caso delle Microdismissioni urbane presenti in Fidenza (PR). Contemporaneamente ai miei studi in architettura ho sempre coltivato una grande passione per l’artigianato e il design degli interni, sviluppando così un background multidisciplinare che mi permette di rispondere a diverse necessità. Con questo mio portfolio vorrei provare a raccontare qualcosa di me stesso attraverso la mia architettura.

I’m a young architect based in Castel D’azzano (VR). I recently graduated at Politecnico di Milano with a thesis about the Decomissioned micro urban structures of Fidenza (PR). Beyond my studies in architecture I have always cultivated a big passion for handcraft and interior design, and I developed a cross disciplinary background thant enable me to answer to different needs. With my portfolio, I would try to say something about my self through my architecture. Enjoy it.

THE NEW COVERED MARKET
San Pietro Convent Fidenza, Parma
The area of the project is located on the north-south axis close to the San Pietro Convent in Fidenza, one of the main historical buildings of the XVIIth century. On the back side of the convent there is a big open space which will be the project area. The first step of the project was to work on the external sides in order to build the limit and close to the internal space from the context. This was possible thanks to the system of ramps and stairs that create a dynamic movement in which the modular suspended pavillions are inserted. It’s visible the relation between the old and the new buildings given by the alignemts of the convent and propose again a new hypogeum open space. The last step was to work on the shape occupied by the sport building, keeping the structure and preserve the volume. The market activity finds, in the compositive system, a natural urban collocation able to reconnect the spaces between them.

THE NEW COMMUNITY CENTRE
Ex Cinema Cristallo Fidenza, Parma
The project developed tries to obtain the maximum integration in the area through the introduction of elements that have an architectural relation with the existing historical context. The compositive strategy aims to obtain unitary spaces using geometric volumes that remark the different alignments from the existing buildings. In addition, the distribution element permits to keep together and link the two parts of spaces. On the facades it is possible to see the free composition which is interruped by walls that determinate the space. Finally, the possibility to connect the new building with the ancient church gives another unique space used as a polifuncional room and an outdoor hypogeum space that can be used for outdoor activities. The building will host social activities such as workshops, kitchen courses, atelier for kids, study rooms.

CENTRE FOR SCIENTIFIC STUDIES
Ex Jesuit’ Convent Fidenza, Parma
In this case the aim is to fix the historical texture fragmented, particularly on the back part of the Jesuit’ Convent, adopting the theme of the composition by courts and squares which caracterize the urban structure of Fidenza. The first step is to organize the functions in the internal part of the convent in order to work synergically with the new building. The internal spaces will host study rooms and small flats for researchers. In addition, the small court will be an indipendent organism with a separated entrance and will host conferences and service spaces. The new building is thought to host a biological laboratory with an experimental and exposition space as a glass house. On the outdoor space there will be a botanical garden for public activities. The final element is the cilinder which keep together the different aligments of the two figures and keeps hosts a specialistic library. Every volume is kept together by the hypogeum square which will be used as an outdoor exposition area.
