A three bedroom house resting a top a hill overlooking the city of San Salvador and the Pacific Ocean. The house responds to its tropical environment with passive ventilation strategies that include a double-roof system which keeps interior spaces cool at all the times. The shape of the roof comes from shading studies, as well formal interests. The house includes a lap pool and a small recording studio.

A three bedroom house for a young coulple and their daughter. The house is a contemporary interpretation of a traditional courtyard house. All interior spaces are connected to the exterior garden, their boundaries blurred through sliding doors that hide between stone walls. The house follows the natural terrain of the landscape and all the trees on site were preserved.

An addittion to an existing bar with views to the city and an interior plaza. The concept of the bar is a children’s treehouse, with a relaxed atmosphere made from “found” materials. The volume wraps itself around a large willow tree that serves as a shaded canopy for a large outdoor terrace.
