Hello!

Currently, work in different part of interior design career for around 6 years no matter residential project, retail or F&B projects. Throw back to these short 6 years, I have learnt CAD, 3D drawings, site cooperation and make quotations. After understanding those design progressing, I found design is the thing which needs to feel from heart and life. I can see different story and future planning from different cases. And give a good consultation back to client and purpose them a good living style. Last but not least, 'Design is very interesting!' I still can tell people how much I love it. And hopefully, can learn more design strategy in my future planning.

THE ZUMURUD Residential

Project Data 2019 / Residential Location Ho Man Tin Site Area 1200 sq.ft / 111.5 m²

Overview This is a high-end residential area in the downtown area. The client has a son and several workers. Except for the kitchen, the walls in the house are re-planned, mainly divided by the entrance as the central axis point. The corridor on the left extending to the terrace is the adult area, and the other side is the children's area.

Overview This house is located in the mid-levels of Ho Man Tin. The owner's unit is on the lower floor, and the pool can be seen on the ground floor from the window. Open two rectangular spaces, extend the scope of the living room, and also have functional separation, becoming the private space for the client of the household.

02- The Regalia

In order to keep the moving lines clean and neat, put the TV as close to the wall as possible, and transfer the cabinets and equipment to the multi-functional room behind the TV wall.

The master bedroom is a comfortable area, and the background wall is decorated with pure white and decorative wood lines, which highlights the client's bright color bed frame.

There is a water heater beside the window of master bathroom , which is decorated with basin cabinets and the mirror to maintain the unified and concise style of the whole house.

As of May, the site is nearly 80% complete. Now is the final step of construction, which is the painting process and the detail repair of furniture.

Goldin Financial Global Centre Commercial

Completed at mid of 2020 Kowloon Bay, Kowloon, Hong Kong 8500 sq.ft / 790 m²

Overview This project is a contracted design and build. It is a Grade A office building located in Kowloon Bay. The unit is an L-shaped plan in the middle and high floors, with open landscape and good lighting. When planning the floor plan, it was considered that all rooms with sea views are the management's rooms, and the main entrance is the main axis, which divides the boss's area and the employees' positions. Taking the concept of a revolving door, a giant artwork is placed in the center of the reception, which is the highlight of the whole company's design.

Everyone has a specific moving line to move, and the rotating design concept is that guests and staff are not hindered.

 This important route will be a communication bridge used by employees, managers and senior management, and intensively used during office hours. In order to highlight the difference in the owner's exclusive design, in addition to using a partition wall to cover the entrance, a classical sloping arch is also used, and the artworks on the left and right sides are matched.

The most challenging part of this project is the glass cabinet, to design a giant artwork with a diameter of 2 meters and a height of 2 meters. The weight cannot be ignored, plus office buildings are generally raised platforms. In addition to dismantling the design drawings, it is necessary to cooperate properly in the on-site construction.

In the design process, the preliminary idea needs to be consulted with various opinions. Problem solving and communication are indispensable. I always refer to the detail and technology of famous stores and think about better plans to implement it.

Overview The mobility of dental clinics is very high, not only the work of doctors and nurses, but also the customers are coming and going. When communicating with the clients, everyone agreed that when planning the floor plan, we need to consider a circular way of thinking. The shape of the floor plan seems neat, but because medical instruments need to move in space, the dimensional accuracy cannot be ignored.

In terms of material selection, customers hope to prefer the local Japanese decoration feeling, and the colors used are mostly calm and low-key, such as dark wood color. I also suggested using some bright colors to embellish it in my design talks to add a little bit of fun.

When the floor plan is implemented, the next step is the façade and preliminary modeling. Japanese-style slanted ceilings are popular. Taking advantage of the height of the site, I conceived a combined version of lighting and slanted ceilings. Try to create more possibilities in a limited space.

Before production of the furnitures, it's necessary to have good WELLCONSERVE TSUEN WAN communication with end users, and to meet their use requirements, then reach a consensus in the constuction drawing. C In the final design stage of the reception desk, I improved the ergonomic height of desk design, as using a raise-up floor to bring both standing and seated people to a comfortable height. that as functional for the patients, when they stand in-front-of the reception to make a pay. The dentist's rooms in the three rooms are all facing the window, but after on-site inspection, it was found that the sunlight was not enough. To be used for work purposes, it will easily cause shadows. Designing a good lighting environment is a must in the hospital. In addition to the basic engineering lights in the layout on the ceiling, LED light panels are added to make the ambient lighting uniform.

The client of this design project is the Hong Kong agent of the wedding shooting venue, and it is a water church from Uttori, Japan. In the early stage of the design concept, the clients provided many design styles of local Japanese wedding venues. In addition to accepting their requirements, they were committed to putting forward some breakthrough suggestions, such as the top bracket and the height of the booth. The sense of space is magnificent, allowing the guests to feel the local environment of Uttori, Japan in advance.

Casino VIP Salon Project Data

This project is a combined contract of project management and construction. It is the casino and clubhouse for the valued customers in Studio City, located in Cotai, Macau. I work closely with the entire team, including local employees in Macau and workers in Zhuhai, and manage the drawing team in Zhuhai to communicate with the on-site environment. In addition to internal cooperation, the project management work is to draw up the progress of the project every week, solve problems and assist in all aspects suppliers, etc.

'' importance of project management ''

Due to the high completion standards of the casino, constant supervision and management on the construction site is an important part. The engineering project is huge and even more careful, including the understanding of the on-site workers and the expression of the drawings.

In the process of project management, it can effectively follow up and keep close to the progress of the project, and each process has a timetable to plan, so that each step can be undertaken. Of course, there are often unforeseen problem in construction, but keeping calm and positive, and consulting opinions from all sides, finally, all can be solve everything.

This project is the main entrance lobby of City of Dreams. After completing the VIP room, our team was favored by the client and was assigned to be responsible for this stone floor renovation project. The lobby design adopts a radial pattern, like a kaleidoscope, each grid is made of different marble stones. The process of on-site measurement has to be extra careful, considering the dense flow of people in the lobby, which is the intersection leading to various locations. Therefore, our team separated the construction phases of different periods, and the construction time had to be carried out during non-peak hours, which was particularly challenging.

This project is a macaron bakery located in the Cosmetics Plaza in City of Dreams. The designer is dedicated to the brand from Japan. The oval layout, the fronts of the high cabinets on both sides are polished on-site with marble until the arc is smooth. I have gained special experience in this project. I am fortunate to be able to deepen the japanese requirements and dedication to design. I have learned a lot from the process of thinking about craftsmanship and every detail.

Whampoa, Hong Kong 1108 sq.ft / 1030 m² Po Leung Kuk, Threshold Consultants ltd.

This project was tendered by Po Leung Kuk and the architectural consultancy firm. I and team took over the tender process to begin. It is a floor shop in one corner of the Whampoa Garden. The project needs to consider various types of engineering, including fire protection, air-conditioning, electrical and lighting calculations. The construction also needs to be carried out in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong. I am responsible for meticulously considering all the problems of the design drawings from the consultant company, so that the site can be carried out smoothly.

During the construction period, there will be many loopholes in the drawings that need to be discovered, and a feasible solution will be found for the consultant company to determine. So communicate closely with all parties and hold regular meetings.

However, I will use 3D modeling to further understand the unrealized design, so that the designer and the manufacturer can fully understand the finished product. On the one hand, it can reach consensus more effectively, and on the other hand, it can reduce possible misunderstandings.

Watami Japanese Dining

Lai Chi Kok, Hong Kong 1960 sq.m / 182m²

This project is one of the Hong Kong branches of a famous Japanese group, in a large shopping mall near Lai Chi Kok Station. Commercial type projects are extremely urgent. The construction period is only one and a half months, and it will be completed before the Lunar New Year. In order to complete the project as scheduled, I and the designer have been working around the clock to confirm the drawings and the problems that may arise on site at the beginning of the project. We also specially visited the detailing and construction

Time can’t be missed every minute. that's make it easier for the factory to understand the manufacturing method of all customized products, I have a meeting with the factory staff in Shenzhen to ensure that there are no wrong products that affect the on-site process.
