I worked demolition, decking, framing, drywall installation and roofing, gaining an understanding of the construction process from beginning to end.
PRIVATE LANDSCAPER/TRIM CARPENTER SELF EMPLOYED
2020 - 2021
Using the skills I learned from construction, I went on to do private landscaping and interior renovation jobs. These jobs included working with the client to design and remodel their homes, installing crown molding, wainscoting and designing a floor-to-ceiling mantle.
METROPOLITAN FRAME COMPANY FRAME ASSEMBLER
2021 - 2021
I worked through the entire frame building and finishing process for highend art pieces. This includes cutting the frames down to size, joining the pieces together, and puttying the frames for a clean and seamless finish.
CU DENVER FABRICATION LAB STUDENT ASSISTANT IV
2022 - 2023
I worked for the school designing and building several projects and renovations for the building itself. I was also responsible for monitoring the woodshop, metal shop and laser cutting lab, training new students and advising peers with their projects.

Network 111 is a live/work residency that hosts 5 regional ecologists and locally sourced, construction materials local to each thinkers
2 Material Scientists (MS) from Region A
2 Material Scientists from Region B
1 Material Scientist from US Region
The regions are decided by their common climates and environments, so possible. They will also be connected to an organization called COLabs, their work. This means a lot of their actual research and development building itself serves as a “Case Study” of how modern design can utilize

so that all of the thinkers’ work can be as collaborative and conducive as COLabs, a collection of 150+ federally funded labs here in Colorado to help with will be done externally, but their home base will be at Network 111. The museum was designed to engage the site and its pre-existing conditions (as shown above). It aims to extend the already present circulation and paths in order to provide access to otherwise inaccessible areas of the park. It also is lifted above the floodplain to not only protect the building, but to create viewports of the park itself and of the surrounding area. It also serves as a sound barrier from the enveloping 15th Street and Little Raven Street, as well as providing more engaging and ADA accessible entrances into the site from these streets and the South Platte River.

In my first studio, we were tasked with transforming a solid 8” x 8” x 8” cube idea of stepping: different scales, different circulations and their relationship drew the user in and around the piece, letting them choose their own to another side of the project. I voided out each side, connecting it to one exploration with what
This project was also an exploration for myself, experimenting with different projects, while also navigating the concept of voiding solid

cube into an architectural form. For this project, I wanted to explore the relationship with threshold and procession. I wanted to create an object that way to navigate around the model while simultaneously leading them one (or more) of the other side(s), trying to create enough intrigue and limited material I had.
different aspects of stepping that I could later utilize in actual architectural solid masses to create a unique and compelling model.
