In Bel Air - Holmby Hills there were 9 single family home sales in September 2014, down from 13 in September 2013 and a 10% decrease from the 10 sales closed last month. The average list price for single family home sales in September 2014 was $4,835,444 compared to $3,561,461 for September 2013, representing a 36% increase. For the three-month period from July to September 2014, the average list price was 14% lower than the same period of the prior year. Average sales price for September 2014 was $4,500,000, compared to that of July through September 2014, which was $3,441,775. Comparing September 2014 to August 2014, Bel Air - Holmby Hills saw a 58% increase in average sale price, and a 39% increase compared to same month of the prior year.

SEPTEMBER MARKET OVERVIEW In Beverly Center - Miracle Mile there were 22 single family home sales in September 2014, up from 20 in September 2013 and a 16% increase from the 19 sales closed last month. The average list price for single family home sales in September 2014 was $1,730,682 compared to $1,202,385 for September 2013, representing a 44% increase. For the three-month period from July to September 2014, the average list price was 29% higher than the same period of the prior year. Average sales price for September 2014 was $1,736,386, compared to that of July through September 2014, which was $1,600,794. Comparing September 2014 to August 2014, Beverly Center - Miracle Mile saw a 20% increase in average sale price, and a 42% increase compared to same month of the prior year.

In Beverly Hills there were 10 single family home sales in September 2014, down from 13 in September 2013 and a 29% decrease from the 14 sales closed last month. The average list price for single family home sales in September 2014 was $4,988,895 compared to $4,666,308 for September 2013, representing a 7% increase. For the three-month period from July to September 2014, the average list price was 5% lower than the same period of the prior year. Average sales price for September 2014 was $4,648,250, compared to that of July through September 2014, which was $4,760,526. Comparing September 2014 to August 2014, Beverly Hills saw a 12% decrease in average sale price, but a 3% increase compared to same month of the prior year.

SEPTEMBER MARKET OVERVIEW In Sunset Strip - Hollywood Hills West there were 33 single family home sales in September 2014, which is the same as September 2013 and a 3% decrease from the 34 sales closed last month. The average list price for single family home sales in September 2014 was $3,189,918 compared to $1,860,303 for September 2013, representing a 71% increase. For the three-month period from July to September 2014, the average list price was 35% higher than the same period of the prior year. Average sales price for September 2014 was $2,960,970, compared to that of July through September 2014, which was $2,306,866. Comparing September 2014 to August 2014, Sunset Strip - Hollywood Hills West saw a 43% increase in average sale price, and a 64% increase compared to same month of the prior year.

In Venice there were 8 single family home sales in September 2014, down from 22 in September 2013 and a 47% decrease from the 15 sales closed last month. The average list price for single family home sales in September 2014 was $1,507,625 almost matching $1,556,727 for September 2013. For the three-month period from July to September 2014, the average list price was 18% higher than the same period of the prior year. Average sales price for September 2014 was $1,460,033, compared to that of July through September 2014, which was $1,807,062. Comparing September 2014 to August 2014, Venice saw a 31% decrease in average sale price, and a 5% decrease compared to same month of the prior year.
