Quality, tropical Bulls at Warrina

ESTABLISHED in 1987, Warrina’s selection criteria has focused on highly fertile, medium framed, docile, polled Droughtmasters suitable for all northern conditions and markets.

While concentrating on quality above quantity, Warrina Bulls area tropically adapted, easy doing, well-muscled cattle with tidy underlines.

As the Stud is located in the Wet Tropics, where conditions and climate are often extreme, replacement females are selected on stringent fertility performance and must be able to resist waves of Tick, Buffalo Fly and thrive in Tropical conditions while still producing Progeny capable of competing favourably against the best Cattle from Sub-Tropical and Temperate zones.

Apart from selecting for superior physical and performance traits, we recongise that consistency comes from “Depth Of Breeding” and our breeders carry the best genetics. Only the best of our male calves are kept for Sale Bulls which are mostly marketed privately, off grass, at 24 to 30 months.

We believe that this best provides buyers with peace of mind of obtaining

Bulls of high quality that are truly sound, ready for work and not overfed.

Peter Bauer and Julie Brotherton look forward to seeing you at Warrina, located at 66 Junction Road, Mungalli.
