Position Announcement: Volleyball Coach (Boys)
Seasonal Position: March 19-May 18, 2025
The Storm King School is an 8th-12th grade, co-educational, college preparatory boarding/day school of 175 students. Our students come from throughout the US and 25 countries. We are located in the spectacular Hudson Highlands, overlooking the Hudson River and surrounded by 6,000 acres of green space made up of Black Rock Forest and Storm King State Park.
We are seeking a Volleyball Coach for our boys volleyball team. This position is seasonal work, starting on March 19 through May 18. Practices vary in start time, with the earliest practice starting at 3:30 p.m, and the latest starting at 4:30 p m Games will be on Wednesdays, Fridays or Saturdays
The Boys Volleyball Coach is responsible for the development of student-athletes' skills in volleyball, as well as development in areas with alignment to SKS school values: Truth, Respect, and Responsibility Coaching experience is required, playing experience is preferred. The volleyball coach may be asked to participate in regular staff meetings in alignment with their position in athletics Candidates must have a valid driver's license and pass all applicable background checks.
Stipend: $2,500 - 3,500 depending on experience
Job Type: Part-time, Contract
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
Schedule:
● Monday to Friday
● Weekends as needed

● 50% (Required)
