Margie Labadie’s artwork represents a confluence of ideas and imagery relating to: * living and working in Asia * the recovery process from surgery that had caused the complete loss of her voice * subversive advertising using idealized and sensuous imagery * the relationships between birds and humans


The following selected works were made between 2005 - 2010. 
 The forms in which they are displayed include: framed prints, unframed-tapestry, 
 Chinese scroll, accordion-style book, video and still image projection.
