I am thrilled and deeply honoured to have the opportunity to present my art to you in person at the Margot McKinney Residency, a very special space situated within the Precious Jewelry Salon of the fabulously incomparable Bergdorf Goodman. The chance to engage one-on-one with my wonderful collectors in the United States is a rare privilege, and I especially relish the fact that I can personally share the inspiration for my pieces with you as well as the many fascinating stories of the people and places that have made each one possible.
I have carefully curated a very special collection of my jewels to feature at this In Residency, comprising a number of existing works alongside some all-new ones. You will see that the collection is a celebration of my very favourite ‘signature’ gems, as it gives centre-stage to pearls (including Australian South Sea pearls - the finest and most coveted in the world), beguiling Australian opals, and a host of exquisite gemstones such as diamonds, sapphires, tanzanites and more. A summary of the pieces featured follows on the pages of this booklet.
