1 Qatar Men’s ITF World Tennis Tour The ITF Men's World Tennis Tour is entry-level professional tennis, allowing players to compete in tournaments as a pathway between the ITF Junior World Tennis Tour and the elite levels of men’s professional tennis. Results of ITF tournaments are combined into the ATP ranking, so professionals can progress to the ATP Challenger Tour and ATP Tours. At Khalifa Tennis and Squash Complex.

5 – 8 VW Beach Pro Tour Challenge Men’s and Women’s 2022 A brand new competition by Volleyball World, itself a new partnership between the FIVB and CVC Capital Partners, combining beach volleyball with entertainment. The Challenge level tournament is a feeder to the Elite16 level – there are 24 teams per gender in the main draw with modified pool play followed by a single elimination tournament. 13 Wanda Doha Diamond League Athletes compete for points in 32 disciplines at 13 meetings held during the season, in order to qualify for the final in Zurich in September. Local hero Mutaz Essa Barshim is expected to compete in the high jump – he is the current World Champion and joint gold medal winner at the 2020 Summer Olympics Tokyo, so expecatations are 'high'! June

27 June – Qualification for the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup will be played from May 2022 to February 2025. 5 July There will be 18 teams competing in the pre-qualifiers, played on a round robin basis – 9 teams each in the Western Region and Eastern Region of the competition, with Qatar in the Western Region. The pre-qualifiers will see eight of these teams go through to the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers, joining the 16 teams that already qualified from the 2023 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers. Street Child World Cup Doha 2022 (SCWC 2022) Young people from across the world will come together in 13 girls and 13 boys teams to take part in a football tournament and a festival of arts, while advocating for their rights and protection at a child-focused Congress and General Assembly. Street Child United is a group of international organisations, volunteers, corporate partners and sponsors, influencers and experts, football clubs, media and artists, schools and clubs with the aim of giving the most vulnerable children the chance to represent their countries and tell the world ‘I am somebody’. 2023 World Championships Senior Individual and Teams 2023 The International Judo Federation brings their flagship event to Doha for the first time, as part of a partnership to support the promotion and development of judo in Qatar. ijf.org
