Single robust structure Single volume
Refuge Developed in the Conception of architectural form class, the proposal was to create an enabling environment to produce works or papers, where the person would be essentially alone and would not come out often. Created from the word/concept skeleton. Inserted in a steep terrain and with a lot of green area and near the sea. The decision was to not harm the area, so the structure was visible and hold the living environments high, making the person walk under the construction before get inside the refuge. By taking off the ground there was the possibility to create areas to be protected and in touch with the nature around.

In the third semester of college the challenge was to create a village in the univertisy campus. Located on an island near the waterfront with linear deployment, due to wind coming from the sea. It resulted in shared gardens between the houses. Using independent basic solid, the form is designed to aggregate the 3 types of property. Thereby creating an internal harmony of each set. For more privacy and use of space built each unit has access to a roof terrace, which occurs independently for each dwelling.

Student Residence
The proposal was to create a dwelling for college students. Located in Flamengo, a residencial neighborhood but still with a lot of entertainment and business services around. The building needed to created spaces to be used by the dwellers and the neighbors. Downstairs we have a cafe located next to a square that receives plenty of own building. We also have the use of stilts as an art gallery. The pillars give access to the building lobby and foyer of the auditorium, which can be used not only by students but also by the Institute of Architects which is adjacent to the building

This landscape project was created in an integrated studio on the fourth semester of coleege. The challenge was to design a public space in the building sit and around it. The project needed to fulďŹ ll the needs of public space in the zone, located near a square and a park. So were than made small nucleos of permanence to give the users a more cozy sensation to take them away from the rush of everyday life. It is also a place that can be used for all the different groups of people that may pass throw the streets and fell in an invinting environment,

ENGENHO DE DENTRO LIBRARY
The chalange in this location is to create a place that can enter the context whithout changing the genius loci. It’s in a area with low buildings and a huge soccer stadium tht was implemented few years ago. The stadium biulding sit was a place that the neighborhood approprieted as a park, showing the need to open spaces in this area. Our project creates the place that this people loose and a inviting library, since this area is full of schools. The open space does not have ďŹ sical boundaries trying to create places that can absorve many activities as the need of the comunitty shoes. The constructed space follows the same though creating a place that is really visually connected and with a lot of outside connection, since the bigger facedes are all in glass.
