The exercise consisted on redesigning the interior of the architecture workshop of the Tec de Monterrey school in Monterrey to provide a better place for working long periods of time and a better working environment The intention of the design was to generate a natural environment where students could feel comfortable for long working hours but also to create a more functional design for a better education The space was divided in two areas the working area and the classroom area The working area consists of one level with double height so the students would not feel enclosed The classroom area consists of two levels both with a open view towards the working area. The exhibition area is located besides a green wall that can be viewed from the stairs that give acces to the second level This stairs work as benches for the exhibition area and also students can lay down for a working break The idea of green walls and trees inside the workshop is to provide the students with CO2 so they can spend long periods of time working without having problems and to give the feeling of being in an open free space.
