If you live in southern California you must take advantage of the beautiful beaches in your backyard. And not only the beaches, but the amazing weather that southern California is fortunate to have for a majority of the year. The water may be too cold on
some days, but just sitting on the sand under the sun can be extremely relaxing. Take a book, take some music, or fall asleep listening to the waves. Just make sure you take advantage of what’s in your backyard.
If you enjoy watching sports and rooting for a team, southern California will not dissapoint. We should consider ourselves lucky, becuase some states don’t have professional sports teams! In LA alone you can go watch the Lakers, Clippers, Kings, or Dodgers play.
People often avoid professional games because of the ticket price, but you can find cheap tickets if you dont mind sitting further away. Dont worry about beign seated far- the atmosphere will be great wherever you sit.
Do you get tired of doing the same workout exercises every day? Do you enjoy spending time outside? You should take advantage of all the great hiking spots in southern California. There are easier trails like the hike to the Hollywood sign
or hidden gems like Escondido Canyon, which has a waterfall at the end of the trail. Hitting the trails is a great way to exercise, learn more about the city you live in, and to spend time outside, in the sun.
