REBECCA LEIGH GROGAN

Becca creates all kinds of work. If she can mold it, shape it, mark it, paint it, or fold it, Becca has probably experimented with the material. Art and design is not limited to paper and computers; it would be quite boring to her if such were the case. Becca creates work the same way she would grow a flower from a seed or build a table from planks of wood. Research. Imagination. Planning. Action. Design and a creative mind exist equally within all of these activities; it is simply the medium that has been altered.

He loves pattern and color and anything with an intriguing texture or tactile experience. Andrew spent his first two years at Virginia Tech studying Architecture—the lessons he learned about how we experience the world around us have greatly influenced and encouraged his affinity for material experimentations throughout his work. In his spare time, you can find Andrew out for a drive exploring the Blacksburg countryside, turning an afternoon into an adventure. He also enjoys a strong cup of coffee, singing with friends and finding a well-made pair of jeans.

When she’s not tinkering with her handmade letterpress machine, you can probably find her reading a book, daydreaming about cross country road trips, and getting way to excited about snail mail.
