Almost one year back it was an extremely life changing decision for me to go for this opportunity and apply for the President of AIESEC in Armenia. And now I’m here and leading the entity with great enthusiasm and passion. Yes, passion, this is the most important component in the leadership. Demonstrate AIESEC Way in beliefs, attitudes, thoughts and behaviors. Facilitating and communicating the term’s overall direction. Maintaining awareness of both the external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for entity, customers, markets, new industry developments and standards, and so forth. Leading, guiding, directing, and evaluating the work of vice-presidents depending on the MC’s reporting structure. Ensure the support for Local Committee’s development and achievements and demonstrating “the leadership” to make term mission a success. Take an active role at the international level in discussions of a strategic nature (e.g. global teams and conferences) and ensure that AIESEC in Armenia’s opinions are well represented among the global plenary. Ensure harmonious communication and maintain relationship with the formal boards; Boards of Presidents and Board of Advisors. Evaluate the success of the organization. MCP is accountable to the global and national plenaries MCP is the supreme decision maker person of the organization
• MCP job in AIESEC in Armenia according to the national Compendium is minimum half time • AIESEC Office is located in Raykom (Azatutyan 24) • Current MC doesn’t get salary (fully depends on the financial performance of the entity) • Travel to the International Meetings such as IPM, IC , XPROs, Regional PMs depends on the financial capacity of the entity • AIESEC in Armenia doesn’t guarantee to cover the expenses for IPM’15 in Vietnam • MC term starts on July 2015, ends on June 2016 • Elect MCP starts transition immediately after getting elected
