Project Brief:

Nojoud is a project that aims at reviving the traditional and local crafts, which are subjected to demolition. Nojoud also, works on utilizing and developing local resources in order to increase local production and energize the local market to compete with international ones.

Nojoud’s mission is developing the craft of handmade Kilim, as a starting point, through designs that live up to modern market taste, in addition to, utilizing the same techniques used in our everyday products such as Home Furniture, Home Accessories and Yoga Matts

Role: Co-founder, manager and Creative director of the project, along with a team of four and volunteers joining according to the project’s seasons.
