The Reception Area welcomes guests into the Container Hotel, Wildmoon. It includes a custom made reception desk made of a recycled wooden log suspended from the ceiling and luggage storage area behind it enclosed with a sliding door. 3 self check in kiosk have been provided, keeping in mind about the ever changing digital needs of the 21st century and to provide an efficient experience. A Waiting Area has also been provided with different types of seating using colours and materials that connect back to nature.

Restaurant & Buffet Area

The double volumetric space Restaurant, Bee's Knees can be accessed from the Waiting Area as well as the entrance that has been provided for it. Following the Wildmoon concept, sustainable materials have been used and hints of hexagons will be seen throughout this area with calming colours. For visual interest, a hexagon grid with hanging plants have been used with pendent lights and splattered hexagon cement effect tiles. Retail Design I Flagship Store

Human traffic flow towards Pavilion: BCAA bus stop Drop-off point at Block B Drop-off point at Block H

ASOS

The challenge for this project was to design a store for the given brand and to incorporate modern technology features within the given space. We were allowed to pick our customer profile and select any three items or more that we would like to display and sell from the brand. The criteria given was to have display features, 1 check out counter, a stockroom, and two fitting rooms along with a waiting area.

'Express your personality & make waves in your career' //My concept for this retail store was to target working women and allow them to be confident, proud, and feel like themselves. All while bringing their A-Game to work, creating a difference, and making waves.

Location: Braddell Road, BCA Academy Pavillion Target Market: 20-35 year old women in the workforce Apparel: Dresses, Suits, Blouses, Shirts, Trousers Accessories: Sunglasses, Footwear, Handbags

DESIGN Entrance & Main Aisle

Clothing & Product Display

The concept of the store is to play with the word 'waves ' and to create a space that has the same dept as the ocean does. The different types of curves found in the design also signify the brands' inclusive identity.

The clothing racks are on platforms on both sides of the store and display the collection ASOS has to offer. For accessories to be displayed, freestanding curved shaped blocks of different heights have been used.

Upon entering the store, clothing racks and product displays can be found on the two platforms.

This creates asymmetry is the display, drawing the customer's attention. Based on studies, when people look at symmetrical and balanced objects, their gaze moves away quickly because it seems to be normal; asymmetrical or unbalanced displays are thus 'abnormal' and are more interesting to the eye.

The main aisle also leads towards the back of the store where the cashier counter, fitting rooms, and stockroom can be found. Along the aisle, seating areas can be found nestled into the curves.

A Singaporean multinational banking and financial services corporation headquartered in Marina Bay Financial Centre Towers. My office design is for the Group Legal, Compliance and Secretariat Department.

Hexagons are believed to connect universal coherence //Structurally stable figures - Representing what a law department should be; unwavering, powerful & ready to face situations. //Equilateral, symmetrical form while still possessing angles; humanly relatable touch. //Use of logo colour throughout the office

Reflected Ceiling Plan

DESIGN Reception & Waiting Area

Informal Meeting Area

The Reception is the most important part of the office as it will make a lasting impression on potential clients, business assocaites and motivates the employees.

The Informal Meeting Area is meant to serve the purpose of quick discussions or non-private meetings of employees when they meet current or potential clients.

It also send an important message about the department and reflects the concept and aesthetics.

The wooden settee with which has plants hanging from above frames the window for optimal use of natural light. Movable tables and chairs have also been provided.

The desk is placed on a raised platform with a feature wall behind it. Stone effect tiles along with wooden hexagon frames and potted plants to create an interasting visual effect.

DESIGN Game Room

Conference & Meeting Rooms

A Game Room in the office has proved to enhance interpersonal relationships, communication and bonding within a team.

The Conference Room is in the 'Back of House' for employees and managers to hold staff meetings and discuss business related things.

It encourages employees to interact beyond work-related issues and facilitates positive communication and vibes among the office staff.

The Meetings Rooms can be found in the 'Front of House' for easy access for clients and scheduled appointments for the busy law department.

The Game Room has board games, a pool table, and electronic gaming.

All 3 rooms have suitable tables and comfortable seating for meetings, as well as storage solutions have been provided for stowing away materials without having to clutter tables.

DESIGN Collaboration Area

Breakout Room

This area is great for hosting collaborative meetings with colleagues from other departments or just relishing an evening with coworkers.

A Breakout Space in the workplace encourages positive interaction at work such as friendly chit-chat over coffee or having lunch together in this area.

The skylight coming through, along with the different shades and textures of maroon fabrics makes the interior inviting and cozy.

The space is large enough with a bar table provided for the law department to host social events or team building activites.

It includes a hot desk and low seating area divided with a whiteboard and semiopen booths. This zone has been treated for interaction and collaboration for DBS to come up all of it's good ideas.

DESIGN Directors Room

The Director and Manager's rooms are made of glass walls that contribute to the interactive aspect of the office layout.

Workstations

The Office's Work Zone include open & collaborative workstations for employees along with some private workstations. Keeping in mind that it's a Law Department and there will be private and confidential items that some employees might be handling, thus cubicles and adjustable ergonomic stations have been provided.

DESIGN

This Canal Linear Park is designed keeping all age groups in mind and is inspired by the colourful small dots that make up a digital image display, I have created a space with landscape features, playscape features for children, leisure facilities for adults and used the same design language across the linear park. While each of the pixels has its own function and characteristic could be read as an independent entity. But, the different combination of these pixels generates a hyper-stimulating hardscape of leisure activities.

DESIGN

Keeping in mind the surroundings, the end-user, and circulation The main pixel in the center is a perfect 12 m x 12 m turf area while all the other pixels scattered around are 4 m x 4 m, the minimum amount of space for a small group to gather.

conversation pit, amphitheater, and play/obstacle structure. The checkered plaza has been developed in a multilevel way, providing an interesting artificial topography growing in height leading to a strategically placed umbrella on a platform.

This play area is equipped with lounge resting areas, picnic areas with seats and tables, seating box structures to provide shadow,

Surrounded by pixels of greenery as a solution to provide privacy and safety confining the playscape.
