A window to Colombia

The windows of “ Limited Contract” will work in December as a temporary exhibition display for La Usurpadora. La Usurpadora is a curatorial collective of Puerto Colombia, a port city on the Caribbean coast of Colombia, which operates without a fixed exhibition space. For their presentation in Zurich they propose to open another window and to show the video work "Los Sueños de la Outsü" of the Colombian artist Eusebio Siosi.
The artist, himself a descendant of the Wayuu ethnicity, deals in his work with the tradition of the "dreamer". The "Outsü" (Dreamer) acts as a medium between the spiritual and everyday life and his dreams have a major impact on the social life of the community. The window in the "Limited Contract" gives an insight into a hidden world and leads us through the repetitive actions and ritual sequences on a journey of dreams.
