English Study at Marianapolis Prep School Marianapolis’ English Immersion Program is a semester in English language study open to high school students around the globe. The intensive fall or spring term facilitates classroom study of English through analysis, composition, and performance. In addition to 3-4 core English classes, participants sample elective coursework across the disciplines to earn a certificate of completion. A dynamic semester in America allows students to attend classes alongside peers who are full time, four-year students at MPrep. Experiential learning is the cornerstone of our pedagogy, so participants enjoy the full spectrum of hands-on learning in and out of the classroom. Instructors measure each student’s performance throughout the term, providing assessments synonymous with the rigor and nuance of education at Marianapolis. Perhaps most importantly, students access the sum of Marianapolis’ extracurricular and residential programming. Participants are fulling immersed in the New England boarding school experience. By their return home, students will have embraced American culture, grown in confidence and independence, as well as progressed in their mastery of the English language.
