The souls who are soon to be born were bored in that beautiful place where the souls wait to be called.

Ya habían inventado canciones, juegos, contaron chistes, hicieron bromas, contaron las gotas de las nubes, pero luego de mucho tiempo se impacientaron y empezaron a platicar. Pardavú, el cuidador de la inocencia de los nuevos niños los miraba sentado desde la rama de un árbol.
They had made up songs, games; they told jokes and played pranks on each other. They counted the drops in the clouds, but after a long time they were impatient and they started talking. Pardavu, the keeper of the innocence of the new children was looking at them from a branch of a tree where he was seated.

Y las almas fueron llamadas una por una y todas fueron a lugares distintos pero nunca se sintieron solas porque al nacer lo primero que vieron fueron los ojos de los humanos que reflejaban su exacta alma brillante y que el cuerpo los hacía distintos, únicos y bellos. And the souls were called one by one.
