Introductio n The studio visited th e UNESC O Wo rld He rit a g e s it e s o f Na p le s , t h e r u i n s o f H ercul aneum, Mo u n t Vesu viu s an d t h e is la n d o f P ro c id a in t h e B a y o f Na p le s. T h e s e si tes contrast and c o mpleme n t e a c h a n o t h e r. T h e y b rin g a s e n s e o f h is t o r y, c u l t u re , nature and architectu re to th o s e wh o v is it t h e m. T h e e s s e n c e o f t h is mo de s t l i t t l e regi on of Ita ly is influenced by t h re e s t ro n g e le me n t s : t h e s e a , t h e v o lc a n o a n d t h e l ayer s of histor y. The studio brief was to de sign a v is it o r c e n t re . Urban Transports in Procida There are four bus lines that cover almost all the localities of the island. The bus terminal is in the port in the area called Marina Grande.
