USE OF LOCKUP

Gastech’s lockup to be used as the default. If space allows the date and venue can be positioned elsewhere on artwork but its final size must be larger than its height in this lockup.

On ALL exhibition and conference promotional material the ‘Diamond Sponsor’ logo must be positioned with the lockup. The logo must not be manipulated in anyway.

On ALL print material the ‘hosted by’ logo must be positioned with the Gastech logo. The logo must not be manipulated in anyway.

This logo can be used where a) there is not enough room for the full lockup or where Gastech is being referenced as a brand as opposed to a specific event. Either logo can be used i.e. full colour on white or white on the origami/solid dark background.

Version #2 This version can be used where there is limited space. All secondary tier logos are one line and the Japan Gas Consortium logo has been used on the Gastech lockup.

USE OF PICTURES

Monotones can be used only as backgrounds. Monotone colours can be either of the two main primary colours but not one of the secondary colours. Do not use duotones and montages.

When using people pictures ensure the crop profiles them in the best possible way - ie do not just centre the image in the graphic area.

Too much background used to the right/top. The bottom right image is too dark. Images can be used in three different ways: 1 . Monotones - for backgrounds 2. Photos to enhance copy 3. Images to be used as fillers (ie for adverts)

When positioning pictures of speakers please DO NOT scale the image to the size of the box and centre the image - the results are often unsatisfactory. Each headshot must (where possible) only show the top portion of the neck and the head must stop just below the top of the box.

Images can be enclosed within an irregular shaped polygon - but this treatment must be used sparingly and preferably at the foot of pages above call to actions. Irregular shaped images can be used only if there is one image per page.
