During the last years, after experiences abroad, knowing multicultural environments and people, I realized the architecture is one of the biggest comunication medium of our time, it is universal. Good architecture has to express wonder and to be usefull at the same time. Its language can be different but not the feelings. The tecnology must embrace the beauty.In my works the sustenaible and usefull componed part has a role part always keeping in mind to wonder perople. Having both architectural and engineering skills, this bonding is the resume of my job figure.

Art Mill | Inter national Design Competition Doha, Qatar
The Art Mill as a collage of the surroundings, it becomes a new kind of art centre: a series of cultural experiences, in a very characteristic place anchored to the history of the site. The material we have used for our project is based on our findings and investigation of the site and its surrounding. Our project emerges from a series of collages, where the Mill, the essence of the harbour, the Qatari culture, its poetry, visual arts, local fabrics, water and light, and a middle eastern symbol: the moon. Through a Regeneration we try to transform the old industrial place to an urban place for the people, adapting its scale towards the size of people and making it an accessible and attractive place for human activity.

Green Baklava | Masterplan of Kodrina Complex International Competition Kodrina, Kosovo
Kodrina will be a materialization of the inherited social, cultural and historic values of Prishtina and will create a city center model, creating a model for sustainable buildings in Kosovo. Our approach of dividing the functions and shapes of the block buildings, layer by layer, imitates the traditional Prishtina house, who’s function and architecture is reflected through its main features of permeable courtyards, beautiful gardens and open spaces, complementary to the private residential premises. These features reflect the urban and architectural design of the site, contextualizing the built and social environment of the plot, and in focus creating pedestrian friendly streets, plazas and public spaces. 8

Centro Direzionale | Metro Station Naple, Italy
In 2004 the City of Naples commissioned to EMBT to design a train station for the city’s new metropolitan line. EMBT proposes a very recognisable and diverse public space that allows a physical reception of the city’s present and past and charts the topographical movements and dynamics of the local population. The project is in the executive phase. The architectural development of the tecnical detailes of the doors of the tube station and how the envelop of the took shape with a metal colored line pattern was my contribution to the project. model

Kalida, Sant Pau Hospital | Hospital De La Santa Creu I Sant Pau, Fundació Privada Barcelona, Spain
Kalida is a project ispirated at the Maggiè’s Cancer Caring Center in the United kingdom. It’s a small structure thinking to help anyone affected by cancer with an unconventional therapy. The building area is situated between the old Santa Creu I San Pau Hospital and the new hospital complex. Kalida is designed as a “warm” pavilion, full of light where the boundaries between building and garden disappear. The project has an organic composition, ispirated on a leaf, the structure is completely merging with the surrounding nature. Furthermore the facades are covered with a brick texture to keep honor to the close old building declared an Unesco World Heritage Site.

Master Thesis And Final Project | A Conservatory And An Auditorium Teramo, Italy

This project deals with the revitalisation of the abandoned area of the old stadium of Teramo, Italy. The new project contains two buildings and a public space in between. One is a school of music and the oder is an Auditorium with two hundred places. Both are are located on a higher level, which can be seen as a podium because the area of interest is along the boundary of the histrorical city center that is situated between two rivers. The idea is to create a connection between the existent old city and hill beyond the Tordino’s river, through a big platform. The ineermost core of hall is cladded with acoustic wood panels, according to each hall’s specific acoustic requirement, as well as the choice of the materials and the shape of the entire hall. 18
