HERMES
Hermes is a powerful brand, rich in history.
The design of this headquarter will pay tribute to their heritage, grandeur and the iconic moments that make Hermes the powerful brand it is. The innovation behind such a classic and minimalistic brand will be represented by the connection between metal beams and the stoned Corinthian columns. The selection of materials, color palette and the juxtaposition of the architecture vs. interior design will provide a “The Magic Box feeling inspired by the emblematic orange box.

Concept Model
The model represents the juxtaposition behind the idea of a heavy Greek temple and the new architecture, which is much lighter. It also shows contrast in the use of materials, stone vs. metal, and color palette. It represents the entrance to this new world and the innovation that exists behind of such a traditional brand as it is Hermes. The tension showed in the “entrance and in the metal structure will be also featured in spaces such as the CEO offices and the emblematic horse at the cafe.

HOSPITALITY DESIGN
RESTAURANT
American Social is a place where Miami’s edgy + extravagant cultural past meets its present to create an escape where friends can gather collectively and interact. It is a place where the daring side of Miami meets the originality that represents the 1920’s. Taking advantage of Miami’s heritage, the restaurant will emphasize contradictory spaces, bold geometric forms, as well as materials that represent Art Deco style. Together with the use of dark spaces, the restaurant will give the guest a taste of the daring side of the Twenties. By using provocative images from the past and neon lights, the idea is to give the user a feeling of becoming part of the story in a more modern way.

The idea of the speakeasy bar is to connect the users with the past and at the same time create trendy spaces that will attract the attention of millenials. Which is the group of people “American Social targets to.

SPA
Sensuum is a holistic approach to wellness through an experience of the senses.
It aims to serve as a pause in the midst of constant frenzy, represented through the use of curvilinear forms that take the edge off of the fast-paced lifestyle and sharper forms commonly associated with Virgin Voyages. The space will also serve as an outlet to reconnect with ourselves, while simultaneously connecting with others through a variety of communal experiences, such as the spa bar, where the guests can have facials, hand massages, and organic drinks. The spaces look to treat users from the inside out using natural and sustainable products, which ties with Virgin’s own brand. Soft lavender accents can be found all over the spa as users reconnect and refresh through a spiritual experience of the senses.

Rockstar Suite is a space for the unapologetic and young at heart
voyager that, as Sir Richard Branson would say, would like to taste the billionaire lifestyle. This suite is inspired by the roots of the Virgin group offering the voyagers the Rockstar culture that represented the brand when it first came out. The suite offers variety of edgy spaces such as their own bar with a record player to enjoy their music while connecting with other voyagers. The master bedroom has some daring aspects such as the mirror ceiling, frosted glass shower and a tub with a clear view of the ocean. Also, the second room can serve as a normal two-beds room or become a lounge. This allows voyagers to connect while having fun in their own private space.
