We are a boutique photography studio focusing on high quality photography services for sophisticated celebrations & events. Whether it’s choosing the right suppliers, a great print paper or working with the most talented editors and stylists, quality is something we don’t compromise on. Investing in great photography is a commitment to ensuring that you’ll have images lasting a very long time and images that will put a mark on you celebration. We believe in timeless, classic, natural & refined imagery. We believe that a good photo shouldn’t be distinguished by trends. It might be captured today, but just as well, it could have been captured 40 years ago or 40 years in the future. And that’s why we specialise in analogue film photography. Whether you have a birthday celebration or a family reunion, a hundred times over we would choose 30 amazing images over 100 average images. 30 images that really tell a story and that capture beautiful memories, heart-warming moments, the gentle and the sincere. Our team of photographers is led by Maria Sundin and we are all dedicated to capturing photos that have beautiful light, and ultimately that tell an intimate, natural and genuine story - the way you feel and see it played out.

F I L M
Analogue film is a specialised art form of photography. It’s the ancient expression of photography and it’s a beautiful way of enhancing your images. The colours and the feel of classic film photography is unbeatable. Your images will truly stand the test of time as we use the same technology used 50 years ago and we use vintage cameras that are no longer produced. We pride ourselves on specialising in analogue film & we define ourselves as hybrid photographers, using both digital cameras and analogue cameras as medium to capture your celebration. We are one of the few photographers in the UAE that use analogue film and as film is so rare nowadays, there are only a handful of professional labs left in the world. Our film lab, Carmencita film Lab, that scans and develops our film captures are based in Valencia Spain. No photoshop, no digital viewfinder - we craft our image in camera which slows us down to be sure that we capture our frames perfectly on the first try. With vintage cameras, things can go wrong. Therefore we try to capture digital back-ups to ensure we don’t miss part of your day should something go wrong. To add a film package, there is an additional film cost due to the high cost of photographing and developing on film.

We specialise in fine ar t photography and therefore photograph most of your day in daylight but we also carr y some off camera lighting equipment for evening photographs.

L ASTING QUALIT Y We so value the work of our album craftsmen. They create all ar tbooks in a handmade process that takes a minimum of 30 days. Using pigment inks rather than dye inks, we can also ensure a longer lasting end product. If you choose archival paper, it ensures an even longer lasting album, no faded images for 50 years!

After your celebration, you’ll receive your first delivery of your photos in your personal online gallery as well as your very first online album draft. With the online tool you can comment on each page and easily suggest changes if you would like to change out / remove / add photos, pages or spreads. PA R E N T

Albums aren’t just for one person anymore. You have an option to add the perfect gift to your guests, parents, siblings, friends right after your celebration. Each album will be a copy of your main album in any size and can be purchased at a 30% discount. C OV E R

All our albums come with gold or silver imprint on the front cover, and an album care card. Both our artbooks also come with a matching linen box and cotton gloves. For the cover font, you can select Roman or English numerals. We also offer a custom calligraphy font for an additional fee of AED 1000, if you would like to make your album extra special.

We deliver around 30 images per hour so after a 4 hour event, you will be receiving around 120 images. The process to edit your photos after the event is set to approximately 4 weeks. This timeline is an approximate timeline as the editing process is so individual to each celebration. We work hard to ensure your images are top knotch before we release them.

We always prefer to meet our clients face to face before taking a booking, so that we can get a feel for each other and show you all our beautiful products! We start with a consultation to find out more about you, what your celebration is all about, what vision and inspiration you have for your event and what you have in mind for photography. We show you all of our beautiful album products and print boxes and our fine art prints. Once you have decided which collection to go for, we’ll secure your booking by sending you an agreement to fill in and sign, as well as booking fee invoice. A retainer / booking fee of 50% is due upon booking, in order to block your wedding date. With the busy lives nowadays a physical meeting is not always possible so in this case a phone call is a good way to talk before you make a booking. To book your consultation, simply email us the date you have in mind and we’ll take it from there.
