CERIĆ CROATIA
• Our village is Cerić. • Cerić is in The Vukovar-Srijem county in the very east of Croatia.
In our village, there is a Saint Catherine church.
In the centre of the village, there is a monument for all people who died or went missing in the Homeland war 1991.
• There are lots of forests and fields around Cerić. • We live in a narrow lowland area. • In the fields are grown: corn, wheat, sunflower, sugar beets,…
• Our school is big and beautiful.
• Kids go there from preschool to forth grade. • We are happy and playful.
• Cattle farmers breed animals like cows, chicken, pigs, ducks, horses,‌
• Oak forests grow around Cerić. • The village got its name from a sort of oak called Cer. • In our forests there are deers and does, wild pigs, squirrels, hares and phaesants.
There is a Cultural Art Society Slavko Mađer and a football club Mladost.
There is a playground and several parks.
This year we planted an apple.
We love to cook!
