If you’ve always loved to create and build things, careers in architecture, engineering and construction will meet your creative desires. Career opportunities in architecture and engineering will grow 22.5% nationwide by 2018. Even the construction industry, which posted cture & archite uction deep reductions in its constr workforce over the past several years, is expected to see brighter days ahead. According to the experts, jobs in construction are expected to increase 18.5% nationwide by 2018. Also good news, these are well-paying jobs. There will also be jobs in skilled trades such as electricians, plumbers, surveyors, and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning). All of these careers are also growing increasingly “green,” as workers master techniques, materials, and systems that define sustainability.
