Total surface 65 m 2 Client : Private The apartment is designed as an open space. Purity and simplicity of the lines and the volumes with a particular attention to the design of the furniture and the details (doors, handles, calepinage...). Dedicated lighting and a certain nobility and sobriety of materials used (oak, mosaic ...) reinforce the feeling of luxury without ostentation.

Diploma project: conversion of a church to a reading place and show. Total surface 380 m 2
Located in a no man's land in the heart of a former mining district, this church is at the center of a housing project. Its conversion into a place of reading, entertainment and life would contribute to the new dynamics of the neighbourhood and make it a community place in its own right. The building overlooks the surroundings with its esplanade making it the perfect sitting for community events with the installation of modules for booksellers or artists. A ramp leads from the esplanade to the entrance of the church. Inside, creating a second wooden skin, in relation to the existing building. The main axis in the nave, directs the visitor towards the depths of the building. As the visitor advances, the place reveals itself: literary alcoves, volumes and furniture of various heights, temporary exhibitions. A simple curtain makes it possible to partition the cafe and thus create a theater.
