This picture was taken in Marquenterre, in Somme. It's a national park. In Brazil, people keep cutting trees down and deforestation alters the environment in the Rain forests for example. Trees disappear but fauna and flora do too. Deforestation is caused by the need for paper and wood. Now, there are still many trees in our forests but tomorrow there will be fewer. Deforestation is a problem because a forest is the home, the needed natural environment of many animal species. The forest is essential to life on our planet. Squirrels and owls live in trees for instance. If they are left without trees, they will disappear. There are already many endangered species in our world! We must solve this problem soon!
